Which hatch LED bulbs?

I searched the forum, and came up with a couple of suggestions, one now being discontinued and another Philips being not much brighter than the factory halogens. Any suggestions on a good bright LED for the hatch, that will last a decent amount of time and won't burn the 4R down to the ground? Thanks!

I used one of these Pilot CZ-3161W plasma LEDs for each of my hatch lights. It takes a little customization to tack them with adhesive into place, but they are really bright.

I have an extra set of the arclight hatch led in white in like new condition I upgraded to red/white model. They are currently sold out. Not sure if this is the one you speak of that's discontinued. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you some pics.

Highly recommend Diode Dynamics, Super solid and easy to customize the look you want, oh and VERY bright, much brighter than the amazon ones IMO. Used the amazon ones too which aren't bad but just don't compare once you have these.

I highly recommend Icarus Hatch eXtreme. These things are freaking awesome.

ArcLightLEDs

They are currently sold out, but you shouldn't have to wait too long for the next batch.

I have to give these a thumbs up too. I love they can switch to RED light. Granted i never used other LEDs, but these are bright AF, although very expensive.

Note if you get the ones that switch red, you need to drill the plastic cover and i personally found that a PITA and promptly lost the tiny button that comes off. I made my own with a thumb tack, but still that sucked.

Which trunk lights did you get from DD? My whole interior has been swapped with DD LED lights and everything is nice and bright except the dome and trunk lights. I have the HP6 bulb from DD for the trunk and the interior dome and they are both not bright at all compared to the rest of the interior lighting. Pretty disappointing.

Wow those look really good!

I did my own setup, its a beta job to see if i like them, i do and they are lasting longer then expected.

Essentially its a roll of led lights, backed with 3m extra strength adhesive.

Super bright and turn on normally woth the hatch opening. I just jumped the wires for the hatch lights.
