I would like to get a set of Yellow Lamin-X covers. On the Lamin-X site there does not seem to be an option for my 2011. Does anyone know if the ones from 14' and up will work on my 2011?:noidea:

I am sure they will. You could also just order a sheet of yellow lamin-x and then cut them yourself. That was what I did. worked well and guaranteed fit.

I assume they just have a sheet option on their site? Which size did you get?

Ive been getting just a little oversized amber films from them for a bit and cutting to spec. Looking back I wish I would have just gotten a sheet and saved some money. If you like the look and plan on doing it again that would be the route to go. There will always be somebody interested in purchasing leftovers of useable size IMO. Cant go wrong

I second just buying a small sheet and cutting yourself. I ordered the precut ones for my 2014 and both were just slightly too small in diameter (clear lens showing all the way around).

This is what I used

Headlight, Tail Light, Fog Light Film Covers & Paint Protection Products from Lamin-x

I just ordered a set of 4.75" round ones. Took the fog light bezel off and got a rough measurement of 4.5" for the light. I figure if its to big I can at least cut it down.
you will have more than plenty. I was able to use the 3.275 and not have to remove the bezel, just apply and tuck under the bezel

is anyone running the amber laminex covers? I see lots of guys running the yellow ones.

If anyone is running amber how do they match the amber in the stock headlight?

Pics to help decide would be much appreciated, as usual around here.

I got on amazon and ordered a sheet of it. It was like $17 bucks for the sheet that I ordered or something like that. It was easy to cut. I just took a piece of aluminum foil and laid it over the fog lamp...pressed the shape into the foil and then took the foil in the house, cut it with scissors and used that imprint to trace out the shape on the film. It worked like a charm. Much easier to try out a couple times with foil instead of wasting film trying to get it right. When you do the foil, press it to the light to get the shape. then go in the house and cut the foil out, then lay the foil piece on the film and outline it with something that wipes off, I used a dry erase marker and transferred the pattern. I did this because I always mess the first one up and I didn't want to order the pre cut ones and mess one up and have one look good and one look like garbage. plus if they get dull or chewed up after time you just replace them and have extra.
