Which rubber mats do you use?

I'm still on the fence about which mats to buy (I still have the paper from the dealer on the floor) but I want to get something before it rains or snows again. I like the fact that the Toyota mats use the retaining clips in the floor but I dont know if they are the _best_ mats for all weather. I have the Husky Liners in my truck and they do hold alot of crap but it usually freezes and I have a rink under my feet. I dont have any experience with the other mats but have heard good things about them all.

So basically what do you use, or if you dont use anything what would you use?

You can see some of my other posts to understand why I don't like Husky floor liners -- good idea but poor execution.

WeatherTech is not custom-fit, but otherwise a very good mat.

Wasn't sure about the Catch-All.

So got the Toyota mats. In fact, put a set in teh Camry, too. They leave a small area uncovered at the top of the mat that I wanted covered (the others probably would have, too), so I added a couple of clear mats just for extra coverage.

They're cheap ($24) for a set of 4, catch mud and sand and dirt. I would like to have the Weathertech or OEM rubber mats, but the money is an issue. They protect the floor. I look out the windshield, and don't see whats under my feet .
Get whatever you can afford that you can live with. I personally think the OEM mats are sharp. But the Weathertech mats looks like they could hold more sand and mud.
Sounds like you don't have a garage. I haven't had any water freeze on my mats. That's pretty cold!

No I dont have a garage Toolman. Even if it doesn't freeze with the Husky Liners there is no place for the water to go until evaporates so i'm usually tracking dirty water around.

I have had the Husky liners, the ones with the deep lip all the way around, not the mats, for almost a year and I think they are fantastic.

They keep sea water and beach sand contained in the liner, are strong as nails and fit perfect.

I just have the Toyota 4Runner mats. Unlike some of the other guys, we don't get much snow down here. I also don't have the luxury of hitting the beach every day like Wood, so i didn't really need deep mats. I mainly use mine during the winter when it is raining more. Other than that, I usually have my carpet mats in.

another vote for the toyota all weather mats. they look good and do exactly what i need them too. you can probably find a set on ebay for a good price.

Another vote for the toyota all weather mats. They do a good job of keeping the muck and grime off the carpet and they are custom fitted to the rig. I can't ask more from them...

Thanks guys I've decided to order the Toyota All Weathers. It was a choice between that and the Catch-All mats. If I didnt have carpet mats already I probably would have gotten the CA's as an all year round mat but since they came with the 4R I bought the Toyotas for use in the winter and muddy seasons.

Toyota All-Weather Mats. Fit and use is great, but the oak color doesn't match the taupe interior perfectly. Otherwise, they're great.

I have the Huskey mats, and I'm not impressed. Toyota mats have better coverage.

I have Husky liners (not mats) and am very pleased.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the 2 clips from drivers side carpet? I've read a how-to in the past, but can't find the instructions any more.

I had the Husky liners in my Taco and liked them so much that I bought a full set for my 4Runner. It is amazing how much junk does NOT get onto my carpets now.
I am not so thrilled with the rear cargo mat but it works OK. The quality just seems inferior to the liners but until it tears or otherwise fails, no complaints.

I have Toyota All Weather Mats. Looks great with the 4Runner detail on them. Works well trapping crud but not as classy as the carpets. BVut...we do drive real trucks now, don't we?
