Which sliders stick out furthest?

Been looking at sliders, and since offroad use for me is limited to hunting/camping, its primary use would be to prevent some door dings if possible.

I have looked at many picturs but it is very hard to tell which ones stick out past the body. Also want them to have treadplates to use as steps as well. Anyone have some that stick out past the body?

So far it looks like shrockworks would be the best for this. I know they wont precent everything, but some is better than none.

I had the C4Fabrication sliders with a bump out and they stuck out quite far. The only thing that could possibly door ding me with them on would be an already tall vehicle (e.g. truck, SUV) that is also lifted.

I think what i really like about the shrockworks is their simplicity. The slee are also very nice and clean looking, but the shrockworks seem like they would be stronger.

The c4 quality is nice but i dont really like the look of the bumpout. Still a consideration, if it sticks out more than shrockworks.

This is why I went with Demello. They stick out far enough to protect my truck and I can step on to them. They're strong as hell too. I have been sitting in my car when a woman opened her door into my sliders and hit it hard enough to taco her door edge. Made me immensely happy.

10-16 4Runner Rock Sliders

RCI makes great products and they are located in Ft. Collins. I picked up my sliders from them there. They come out but also angle up so hug pretty closely to the dimensions of the vehicle.

I do realize that as well, but i really only drive it to work and its a closed facility so no one has passengers. Besides bigger trucks its not really an issue for me.
Its more about inconsiderate drivers here. They will back into your car and not leave a note, or ding your doors.

So far the best look like c4, rsg or shrockworks as far as the looks, quality, and having powdercoat option.

Saw the consolidated thread and read through the whole thing before making this thread. They didnt really specify how far they stick out past the car so it was not very helpful. Was looking for more specific personal insight. Thanks though!

Expedition One makes a Slider that sticks out. The wife uses it as a side step.
