Which snap ring setting for 4Runner specific BS 5100 with OEM springs in front?

So I know there are a lot of threads about BS 5100 and snap ring settings but I couldn't find anything related to my specific question.

I have the 4Runner specific BS 5100 in the front and back. Finally got some OME 906 for the rear to get a 2" lift (front springs are still the stock ones).

According to the BS instructions, the front ring should be set to 3 for 1.61" lift and 4 for 2.3" lift.

"with 2″ lift rear coil spring installed (Rate = 220lb/in)"

3 1.61″
4 2.3″

I'm thinking I should use 3 to get 1.61" since my rear will get the 2" lift. That way, it will be more even when I load the back with camping/biking gear.

Has anyone set the snap ring to 4 to get the 2.3" and liked it?

Okay, got my OME 906 springs in the mail today.

Anyone can help with the front c-clip question? Someone must be using the stock coilovers with BS 5100 4runner shocks.

I have a similar setup.

4Runner specific 5100s paired with factory '01 front coils and OME 906 coils in the rear. I have my snap ring at the lowest setting and have a slight bit of rake, which is what I was seeking. I can measure it tomorrow and get you the actual specs.

I have it set on the 2nd clip and it sits perfectly level, but I have the 99 tall coils. I'm actually going to put 10mm trim packers in the rear because I want some rake for when I load the back up (which I do quite often). I'd probably lower it down to the first clip if I didn't already have the trim packers, but oh well.

I just picked up a pair of OME trim packers to pair with the 906. I like your setup and it looks like you drive similar trails as me, might have to go with the 2nd or 3rd setting since mine isn't the 99 coils.

Did you miss the announcement last year? (errr, maybe even 2016) There are 4Runner specific 5100's (along with the Tacoma and Tundra ones).

Sorry for the late reply, man. These past few days were kinda hectic and we're fighting some winter weather. I will get those measurements this weekend!

Also worth noting:
-rear tow hitch is mounted
-spare tire is not mounted
-no trim packers or spacers installed
-no additional weight in the trunk

The instructions that came with my bilstein shocks showed first notch, stock height, and each higher notch added about 1/2" or so

Personally I think the truck looks better with the running boards/body level and the empty space in the wheel wells above the tires about even. Too much rake looks wrong on these trucks.

Even with a 3" lift however, stock 5th gens are taller
