Which Starter? 1.8kW vs 1.4kW?

And before anyone asks, yes I have replaced the contacts on my starter but the issue has come back.

All V6 automatics got the 1.8kw, all V6 manuals got the 1.4kw unless it was equipped with cold weather spec. You can fit the 1.8kw if you currently have the 1.4kw starter. More starting power so why not? I would recommend getting a Denso starter or you could rebuild your current starter.

Agreed with Bad Luck. You can find them on RockAuto for good prices & quick shipping. I probably wouldn't trust many other places. Don't go through Toyota, you're going to pay out the wazoo for the same exact thing.
