Which tires to buy opinion needed

I'm finally getting around to get tires for my TRD Pro wheels that's been sitting in my garage for months. It's going on my '13 TE which see 100% pavement. Now which tires do I get? I've been looking at the new K02 and Nitto Terra Grappler G2. I may also consider is the Goodyear Dura Trac. Which of these tires have the least road noise?

Just curious: Why do you want AT for 100% pavement?

For that mall crawler look I guess. Imagine TRD pro wheels on street tires it just wouldn't look right.

I had G2's and i hated them, went back to the Duratracs, the difference in noise is hardly noticeable at all. Super quiet for how aggressive they look.

And why did you buy a 4R.....and a TE at that.

Uh to drive and take the family out. Why a TE? Because I didn't need all the bell and whistle the LE had and the price it came with. Why not the SR5 because it looked just like the LE without the options. I liked the TE appearance better.

KO2 for the looks, but if 100% pavement I'd just put on Michelins LTX M/S2.

I may go with the k02 I mean it's not like I won't take it off roading. I may someday when I can find good spots in Washington to do so.

I love how many people like to ask why you would buy a TE 4Runner and want to lift it and throw A/T tires on if you're not going to wheel it. Like the look and image derived from certain automobiles haven't been intrinsically linked since forever. A beastly, jacked up 4Runner looks badass no matter where it's driven.

As any of the tires listed above wear, they will get louder. Not unreasonably loud, but louder. I have the KO2 with a couple thousand miles on them right now and they have gotten slightly louder since they were mounted. If you want absolute silence and perfect road manners, get the Michelin LTX M/S2. They'll last forever. If you're going for looks, get the KO2. If you want an intermediate, maybe consider Firestone Destination AT or Michelin LTX A/T 2

Thanks for the input everyone I'm going with k02 strictly for looks I understand it may be louder but I can turn up my radio.

Maybe its me, but I have yet to find my KO2's getting any louder, I probably have close to 15,000 mi on them.

I bought the KO2 3 weeks after ownership to specifically find some off roads. I use the other car for on pavement burns. Btw $50 rebate on the KO2s

I've heard good things about the GY AT Adventure with Kevlar. They come in p metric and LT, blackwall and OWL. They seem to be a good balance between on road and light off road use. I believe they are the factory tire for at least one of the Tacoma trims.

Maybe its me, but I have yet to find my KO2's getting any louder, I probably have close to 15,000 mi on them.

After 3k miles I have notice that mine are louder from 30-45mph but the at all other speeds.

I have the KO2's as well. Great-looking tires and I haven't noticed any increased noises with about 20,000 miles of on and off roading.
