Whistle/Whine only in Park/Neutral ??? Need help on ideas

I am stuck on what to look at for this noise — its an intermittent whistle/whine noise. It only happens when’s it’s cold outside and the engine has been warmed up. Also, it only happens in neutral or park. Once you put it into gear (even if not driving) it goes away. Seems to be coming from the area on the video around the transmission.

Initially was thinking pulleys/alternator but it hardly be heard from up there. They were replaced along with water pump about 18k miles ago.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated !!

About 9 seconds it should be able to be heard, I can do a better video if you guys cant hear it

Hey, bumping this one last time to see if anyone has ideas. I replaced my belt and all my pullies and the noise is still there, just like the OP has. It also doesn't change if the fan or AC are on/off. Also doesn't seem to change if I turn the wheel or apply the brakes either.

The OP says his noise was seemingly coming from the transmission area, the first thing I would do is check the transmission fluid level.

I would also suggest using a mechanic's stethoscope to pinpoint where exactly the noise is coming from.

I had something similar but mine was constant no matter which gear I was in. It was my alternator. Mine sounded like it was coming from everywhere and was hard to pinpoint.

I suspect you have a torque convertor problem. I'd let a transmission shop look at it to confirm or rule that out. JMHO
