White exhaust

This morning my 4runner let out a belch of white exhaust a minute or so after stopping. It only lasted a max of ten seconds then stopped. Nothing else seemed off. I have not seen my runner do this before, and had not happened since. I am taking it to the shop today to get it looked at since I have a road trip this weekend. I have heard that I should get the head gasket inspected, anything else?

Also, should I flush the transmission fluid when I install my transmission cooler? Or should I check how good the fluid looks and replace it depending on how it looks?

Thanks!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but wouldn't white smoke at start up indicate valve seals?

OP, How long had it been sitting when you started it?

It was not at start up, it was a mile down the road or so (90% down hill). It had only been sitting about thirteen hours.
