Honestly, its not that bad. Just watch your spotter on the other side, since you can't really see the logs once you get on them.

FWIW I think the SR5 wheels are nice, they have many lines in the design but it matched up and compliments the angles of the vehicle and with the many vertical lines due to the doors and windows it looks great. WLO just looks even better. Especially on a white rig.
Are the SR5 and TE wheels different in terms of offset?

The only difference is the width as far as I know. I don't hate the SR5 wheels, but I think they compliment the 4th gen better than the 5th gen after seeing them on a few 4th gens.

10-4, so then the track is just a tad wider on a Trail Edition? Probably barely noticeable as if the offset difference is only a half inch correct?
I have seen a few installed on some 2nd gen Toyota Tacomas with white letters out that look really good also.

Thanks to this thread, I did white text out! More pics in build thread in sig.
I chose the 275/70/17 size because it was a step up, no issues with rubbing.
I even then rolled out a wheel and snapped a couple of shots to help decide.
Right after rolling it out.

That's the one bummer of Duratracs is the white walls are only outlines so they don't look good white walls out. The KO2's look excellent though. I would love to run whites out if I ran BFG's

Can I ask what color you used on the lower bumper section?
If I can score a silver T4R this is my plan, I like the TRD Pro front trim and want to black out the lower section. It is removable correct? Seems it might be easier to paint and or vinyl over this way.

I originally did the lower section in black plastidip, but I guess my spray paint skills aren't too good because I could never get a good finish. I ended up buying the TRD Pro valence panel since it wasn't too expensive.
The TOYOTA TRD Pro garnish, on the other hand, IS too expensive (for my tastes), so I ended up just plastidipping that. I guess it's because it's a smaller surface area, but the finish turned out great so left it.
It's pretty easy and definitely peels right off.
You can also use wd-40 as a solvent to clean off any excess.
Pro tip: spend the 15 minutes to take the part of the truck before you paint it. It's easier than taping off the whole front end of your truck.
