I agree with DaveS.

I would push to have the Rotors and Pads replaced as it sounds you have a bad seat with the brake pads.

Have you checked to see if it is only one side? It could also be a rock or debris in the pad.

If they replace the Rotor and Pads and you still have a problem, the only thing left is the Caliper.

If they are too lazy to investigate for you then they will have to fix it but starting to replace parts until the problem is solved.

As for the issue with the CD player. Most likely the replacement CD Players you received were refurbs. I don't know why dealers keep doing this as it is a recipe for unhappy customers.

I hade a Pathfinder with a CD player that would not play when the temp was -10 Degrees or below. I had to argue to have it replaced and then the unit I received would not play if it were below 10 Degrees. I gave up after that. I suspect the unit I received was sent back for the same reason mine was. It was tested in a nice warm testing centre and shipped back out as Ok.

I would tell the dealer that if they are replacing the CD again it has to be new, not a refurb.

You are replacing the wrong part, you need to replace your dealership,
they obviously have no one that knows what they are doing.

Fixing squeaking brakes is not rocket science.

I can't see why it wouldn't qualify just because it had some mileage. Was it titled before? If not then it's new, period. I had the same trouble with my wifes suburban. I took it in 3 times. It squealed so bad. I biatch as loud as I could, but I ended up with a letter from GM stating the brakes are working as designed, and they will not replace any parts on my brake system anymore. They replaced the rotors, and pad three times with in three months. There was a website devoted to the issue, but I can't remember what it was. I ended up buying some new rotors, and pads from this brake manufacturer. They were pretty expensive, but they never squealed again. GM just uses crap, and that's why they sell suggested retail price $40k burbs for $28k. Anyway, I should stop reading this section, because I've really been thinking of buying one. It also seems like the more technology they put into cars, the more problems it has. Now I sound like my dad. He never wanted power windows, because that was something else that could brake. Am I getting old...I just turned 32 on Saturday? Hahaha!
