No offense to the original post nor taking away your excitement , but my experience with these cheap eBay LED lights was that they don't last. Water would get inside the housings after only one rain and gradually damage the whole assemblies.

Momo and TRS have some quality products if you can afford. They are pricey but the quality is worth every penny. Check it out yourself.

That seems to be the quandary with lights. Do I spend 10 times the money to get the good stuff or does something 10 times cheaper get the job done?

Today I saw basically the same lights as OP posted for $30 at the local parts store.

When being used as a rock light, I would slather clear silicone over every nook and cranny because nobody would ever see the actual light. That would, IMO take care of the water ingress issues.

I have a pair of these these on the back of my truck and they already have some condensation in them. But they're back up lights... and the beam 'pattern' or lack thereof means they don't have much use to me for anything that requires focus etc.

So after I talked all that shit about how the cheap lights are fine. I go to upgrade my back up lights last night and one of the lights I have (same as in the link above) has 3 of the 5 LED's burnt out.

FML...
