who has the haweka in OC california?

just got my revos on. the tire place has the gsp 9700 but not the haweka.. he balanced the wheels without it , came out almost perfect.. but im having trouble locating a shop with the gsp and the haweka.. does anyone know who has it near me? im in orange county california..

This site can help you find shops with the GSP9700. Maybe it can help you find some you haven't called already.

It's kind of surprising that you're having an easier time finding the balancer than the adapter.

thanks john, yes i used that link to find the hunter but nobody has the haweka.. i read that the toyota dealers are supposed to have it.. so i called power toyota in irvine last week.. the guy didnt know what the hell i was talkin bout and said he dont have it.. so just for kicks i called again right now and got a different guy who says they do have it and the haweka.. so im heading over there in a bit to have it done.. they are gonna charge me like 70 bucks.. i hope it comes out better ... ill let ya know

I just got new tires and was looking for a place with the Haweka adapter in OC.

i went to dealer, they had the haweka..
you have to watch them do it right..
i asked for the wheels to be balanced with haweka adapter..
just to make sure i walked behind where the shop is and was watching the guy do it but he was not using the haweka..
i walked up to him and told him to use the haweka..
sure enough they came out perfect. no more vibration at all..
this surely fixed the vibration.. see my other post.
if ya get new tires make sure they line up the yellow dot with the valve.. and dont let em tell you it dont matter. cause it does

on the tires.. if ya got new tires look for a yellow dot on your new tires.. this shows you where the light spot is in the tire. so you line that up with the valve and you will get a better balance and not have to use such huge weight..
take it to dealer, only they have it .. but make sure the use it, its the lug centric adapter.. which means they are balancing it by the lugs not the center hole.. i think thats what lug centric is...

Btw, how often are you planning on rotating and balancing your tires since you got it done at the dealer and not a place like Americas Tire Co?

ah i usually go every few months.. just realignment..
pay once at just tires and they will realign free as long as its been less than 3k miles i believe.
ill probally rotate them in a few months

no once you get them balanced correctly you dont need the dealer anymore just keep alignment and rotate them..you can use a tire shop for this..
you shouldnt need to rebalance them again..
