I am looking forward to hearing your opinion on the Cannons. I was thinking about swapping my light setup AGAIN and running 4 of those in spot config. in the grill. Never seen them in person.

I test ran them last night and they are ridiculously bright in spot beam. I have the orange lens in Euro beam (they are so bright they actually look like PIAA Yellow Ion through the lens). They will be super, super bright in spot mode. It makes everything within the beam look like daytime.

I'll take some pics when done.

- also they are extremely well built and solid.

Two...I believe four would fit no problem - side-by-side configuration. They are pretty thick though.

SoCalTrail - In terms of stuffing them behind the grill, I believe you can probably fit up to 5 side-by-side. That's a lot of light.

I just drilled my bracket and painted it last night...might install tonight since that is the best time to get pictures ;-)

Everything setup - bracket painted, lights mounts, etc... I left just enough room to slide the lens off (I bought orange and blue). The lens drives the output (spot, euro, driving)

This shot doesn't really tell you how bright they are.

The factory fogs have a PIAA ION Yellow bulb. The lower grill fogs are a PIAA ION Yellow fog kit and the top grill has the VisionX Cannons

Now here it is with no lens on (spot only + fogs)


And front view (camera can't focus as the light is too bright)

Does said grill impede much of the light output since the lights are shining through the weave pattern as indicated by the shadows. Is this bothersome at all in the backcountry? In the third picture I don't see any of the weave pattern at all...Where as in pics 5 and 7 it is pretty severe.

Just saw one of these in person the other day and Damn Son, Over Engineer Much?

Has anybody installed one of these AND is using a BB Winch Plate / Winch? The way it is now with a Warn M8000 winch there is no clearance for the controller. Even if we would have drilled a hole for it - not that I was looking forward to drilling through that - a 20" light would cover it up anyways.

Grill is from GrillCraft.

The grill doesn't impede the light at all. Before I switched grills I actually had the fog setup a la Harper7 with the cutouts for the lights within the factory lower grill. The light output now vs. then is the same. I only noticed the lattice pattern when taking the pictures, not when in the car.

I have to say your truck looks 1000 better in person than in pictures.. Pictures don't do justice.

All the installs are clean and just amazing. Truck looks fantastic even with a missing rear bumper, in fact, I didn't notice until you pointed it out.
