who still makes headers for 4R's?

Getting the itch do something to the old girl to keep from buying a Tundra and got to looking for headers. All I can find are the thorleys for 700 and obx for less than half. I read about JBA's but can't find any sellers or any other options. FYI, I'm not supercharged but do have one manifold held together by some seriously hard to reach welds. Is it down to two choices these days?

trust me i thought about it a jillion times but it's the flanges and collectors that would make or break a project like that. if someone were to sell some nice, thick flanges and collectors i'd be set.

Are you anticipating a supercharger at any point? I think the headers just by themselves are not worth the money. However, a supercharger in your future then I might say go for it. Your exhaust may sound better but you wont see a whole lot of gain. If you're just itching to get some, then Doug Thorley and never look back.

I've owned JBA, and Thorley on two different vehicles.

I only owned the Thorleys for a year, ceramic coated. I ordered direct from Thorley, which at the time I didn't know you could do, and it was cheaper then I could find anywhere online. They looked nice, went on easy no complaints. Didn't seem to noticed a huge difference. Felt like it had a little more mid range power.

The JBAs I had were I believe the nickle finish. Those headers lasted a long time. Ran them for 70,000 miles. These were on a Ford Ranger Prerunner. So the truck had no inner fender wells. They were exposed to the elements. Constantly getting caked with mud, dirt, water, salt water. They never cracked, leaked, the coating held really well. I was really impressed with them. These were bought back in 01. So I don't know if the quality is still there.
