Who would be interested in a group buy on K&N kits?

Same here, quality automobiles tend to stay like new throughout the years, I've seen older LC with 100-150k on them that are in better condition then year old Explorers and Expeditions, I bet the same will be true for the 4Runner:

Has your M3 had any engine work/recalls

I'm hoping the 4runner will age gracefully, and I think it will.

My M3 has tons of mods but there were only a couple minor TSBs which were optional that was done. I've had it for 8 yrs and there have been no major issues. I only have 87k miles though. I do a ton of preventative maintenance because I used to track the car a lot (2 weekends a month at my peak). Sometimes I think about selling it but then I drive it and remember why I keep it around . For me, it's been a very reliable car.

Heh. The e46 M3s had a recall on the crankshaft bearings which caused the blow ups. They were out of spec by less than a hair (lliterally). I was close to trading up to one but decided not to. It only affected 2001 and 2002 models.

Got an E-mail back, K&N themselves will not do a group buy. Our best bet at this point would be to work with a resller for a group buy effort.
