Who would be interested in buying complete led conversion kit?

If I where to make a complete led conversion kit for all years of 3rd gen 4Runners who all would be interested??
Depending on what opinions I get I might do:
-Dash Kits(all lights in the whole dash; from driver to passenger side)
-Interior lighting kits (cargo lights,map lights etc.)
-Exterior Kits (All exterior lights; headlights optional)
I would make them for each year(So that they are for the exact year;btw they change through the years)
If you have any Suggestions/idea/opinions Feel free to share them with me!

You need to be more specific about exactly what LEDs you're referring to when you say "complete LED conversion kit".
Replacement "bulbs"?
 
If you read the LED upgrade thread there is a chart that shows people what LED's will work.. there is some slight variation in the years though and could possibly be problematic. If you want a head ache then take it on otherwise leave the responsibility to the individual to research exactly what they need..

:noidea: That's my two cents but maybe my ambition has left the building! Carry on young ambitious one :)
 
I would be interested! I've been looking at doing this recently and have been scouring through threads, tracking down what bulbs and stuff. Could definitely take away some headache for members!

It's a pretty simple thing to a lot of guys, but some guys would probably like a kit. Not having to choose what site to buy from, what shade of white to get, etc would probably be worth it to some.
But, you have to ask yourself- is it profitable?
I think you need to piece together the various kits, see what it will cost to get the complete kits in your hands, and see what shipping will cost to the 4 different zones of the Lower 48. Say each dash chip is $2.50, and there are 8 chips. $20 for the dash chips- is shipping free from your supplier or no? How much bulk can you afford to buy to save on shipping? But then you don't want dead stock... and do you keep all colors in stock? Say $5 for you to ship them out to customers. If you sell the dash kits for $40, you're only making $15/kit- and that's if shipping from your supplier is free. Is $15 profit even worth your time? Could you sell them for more than $40?
I know you didn't ask my opinion on that, but- quick story-
My wife started a business making custom, hand made drink ware- to "help contribute". Her first year in business, our taxes showed she spent $9k MORE than she made. And I'm not talking about shoe shopping, I'm talking strictly business/materials/etc. I'm like "gee, thanks for helping contribute honey..." [emoji23]
I don't want to discourage you, I'm just trying giving you my two cents on the idea.

Group Buy? Interest seems to be there but to make it profitable for you (and a good deal for the buyers.) you've got to "win" when you buy the supplies to make everyone happy :)

Well then...thank you, i hadn't put together any costs and when I read that and think about it you are very correct, I wouldn't make much profit.
