I've got a 2wd, wheel the shit out of it, hit it hard, hit it fast. Don't get me wrong I have lots of recovery gear. you should try wheeling in 2wd, you'd be surprised what you can do. might have to try more than once or spin the tires but its alot more challenging

Hahaha! that I did!
Definitely on some of the stuff we were on that day 2wd was way more fun. Some of the water crossings and the lose rock stuff. 2wd all day:lookout:

Then again, spinning all 4 tires on a big rock ledge is fun too!

I just get real butt hurt when people disrespect cause I wheel my 2wd haha you know that shit! Doesn't mean I haven't put just as much time and effort into my baby.

4wd conversion is happening post college though hahahahaha

I meant no disrespect.. it looked good. Bumper and winch surely served it's purpose but no way in hell would I put a 2wd vehicle in any position that would require a snorkel. That's mostly what I was getting at. I've wheeled my share of 2wd's. They're fun but quite challenging. When I'm at the offroad park I drive around in 2wd mostly with the rear locker on. Goes a lot of places.

Oh....yeah, snorkel is dumb forsure haha sorry to pop off. You have no idea how many guy's I meet on trails and such that say things like "why are you even here" gets real old. If I could have a 4wd you best bet I would haha but I don't sorry haha

and yeah locker is forsure next on my laundry list

I wouldn't wheel a 2wd. Not for the lack of the front wheels driving themselves but the lack of low range. Stock low range wasn't even low enough for me.

x2 on this. I don't even like driving around on the trail in 4Hi if theres any kind of rocks. 4lo just makes me happy......I need double low...

I have wheeled with the guys in 2wd low range, locked in. It was a blast. Have the low rang gears from he T-case and the back locked in! The ass end gets out more but what ever. We ran the local place like that almost all day.

It'll make you a better driver, I promise haha. apologies again, it's hard for me not to get real heated when people start bashing my 2wd, thats probly cause it happens just about everywhere I go haha :vader:

I feel you on the 2WD bashing. It can get pretty annoying.

steezemcqueen's dual cases can make anyone jelly, too.

At least the stockers don't come with 2.28 or similar, like the 1st gens and jeeps do. 4.7 is nice.

Moment of honesty here, I feel like my knowledge base is pretty well rounded when it comes to our trucks, but am I correct in my thinking here?

4.7 is lower than 2.28...right?

That's why I kept my plate even after my 4WD conversion just to piss off "those guys"
