My Greyhound is a bit tall for the 4runner, he's skinny but tall.
How do you keep your dog from slidding around? I have the 3rd row and my dogs hate the angle of the 2nd row seats... they slide around too much.

Well both of my dogs together about equal yours Border Collie & Black Lab. Kinda sad but my wife's matrix is WAY better for transporting them, whoever made that back hatch area all plastic was brilliant. No fur to pick out of carpet = happy me

How do you keep your dog from slidding around? I have the 3rd row and my dogs hate the angle of the 2nd row seats... they slide around too much.

I use to have a knit blanket back there but have since removed it. Mine slides all over with the sliding tray in there as well. I'm trying to find industrial rubber mats locally.

I got one of these for my dogs a few weeks ago and love it. It fits just about perfectly over the sliding tray and the bottom is grippy so it doesn't slide around. I have herculiner on my sliding tray so this is perfect for me but it should still work for carpeted trays. And I can throw it on the ground when we go camping.

I think i'm going to just get some black thick carpet remnant at a carpet store. My guy likes to stand up to have his head out of the window - or in my face, whatever... but that bed wouldn't cut it
Needs to be the entire bed size with the 2nd/3rd row folded.

Has anyone found a way to make the 2nd row fold flat on the 3rd row 4runners?

Check out your local "ranch supply" store, look for horse barn floor mats, lots of options, some are very thick, maybe to thinck, but really heavy duty... There might be a few options there.
I have also seen guys order generic size bed liner mats and use the carpet as a template and trace and cut it for a perfect fit.

He's only about 85 lbs but I feel every pound when he finds his way up on the bed in the middle of the night and lays across my legs!

Molly is on the left. She is 121 lbs. Kona is on the right an weighs in at 142 lbs. She is a little on the heavy side an we are trying to trim her down.
