As the title speculates. I have found someone fairly close that claims they can make Custom bumpers for our truck. I know to most this may seem like no big deal but I know there are others like myself who have just been waiting to find someone like this. I met with him and went over a few styles or bumpers and seen some of his work done on jeeps. Anyhow My trucks going to be a guinea pig for this guy and I can't wait to see the final products. Looks like I'll be having a rear bumper made up that should bear a striking resemblance to the BruceTS rear bumper and the front is going to be very similar to the Shrockworks design. I'll keep the post up to date when I drop off my truck next week for the process to start. Ohh and best of all turn around is a week. He prefers to have the truck for a day or 2 to tweak and measure things aswell. As far as pricing goes we haven't hammered out specifics but I have a ballpark figure that sounds very reasonable. Once it's done I'll let you guys know what your looking at. I can say though it should be a good bit less than ARB, TJM or Shrockworks. Feel free to post if you guys may be interested in having some work done. This guys just starting up and his prices will reflect that. From what I've seen though his work is great. I'll keep this updated.

Post pictures when you get yours done.
He would also need someone with a 4th gen to come in for measurements if yours is made well.

Well I figured it would be a great opportunity for fellow canadian members in particular. Between shipping, customs and brokerage plus whatever else the shippers charge us we can't really afford to get a bumper from the states. I know I for one would LOVE to have a prerunner style shrockworks front bumper. Anyhow I'll keep you guys posted.
Well it's taken a little longer than it was supposed to but I dropped the truck off wednesday night. The Bumpers should be done sunday night for me to pick the truck back up. I'll have before and after pics once its done. I'll also try to get the fabricator to take a few pics during the process.

For those of you interested you can reach the fabricator at [email protected], His name is Andrew. I spoke with him and he said he'd only charge 550/bumper front or rear or 1000 for the pair. A great deal in my opinion considering it's pretty much what I paid.
I know he does landscaping as his primary business and he had mentioned things were getting a bit busy for him work wise. But the last time I saw him he mentioned that he had a 2nd gen coming from ottawa to get a set done with a rear tire carrier. I'll see if I can get a hold of him if you want pm me your e-mail and I'll pass it along if I can get him.
