Doctors will get paid regardless...it is the patients that will suffer from long lines in ERs and clinics. You can't have anything done quickly anymore because you will just be a number in a long line. And that includes hip surgery, dialysis access, colonoscopy, etc..

What i said has NOTHING to do with me turning down "self-pay" or indigents. Like before, you need to READ what people write instead of making blatantly stupid assumptions!

Up to now, we have been having a debate (sometimes heated). Now, all of a sudden, you want to insult what i do professionally?? If you even grasp what i do in a hospital, then you will know that, BY LAW, i canNOT turn down anyone (foreign or domestic, insured or self-pay) that crosses my hospital doors. And, as a personal policy, i do NOT charge people for my services who are self-pays (no insurance). Get your head out of your ass before making stupid assumptions.
