Why all the spam?

I've noticed the same thing! Annoying as hell!

Probably bagholders trying to pump up their losing investments (and find new bagholders to sell their position to)..

They're all fake spam accounts. Every post I see is a brand new member with 1 post. Don't click them, report them, they'll be removed. Pretty much impossible to know who's a spammer and who's a 4R owner when someone opens an account unfortunately.

It's been going on for 3-4 days now. Reporting them doesn't seem to have any effect.

I think the mods have all checked out and gone wheelin' for the week.....:jk:

If I log into this site from my phone within a few minutes I will be redirected to one of those sites congratulating me for winning something. Ive stopped logging in on my phone all together.

I use an add blocker named crystal on my iphone, and I never get re-directed here. Can't remember the last time I was re-directed on any website since I got it.

yes, it's true, much spam lately. but you know what's more annoying than a random piece of spam? 100 emails a day of people reporting spam!!

do us a favor, if you see spam, and it's not brand new, consider that someone may have already reported it. please for the sake of my inbox, please.

I myself deal with 50+ spam posts a day.

Posts about spam have no value.

If it's over an hour or so old, someone has probably reported it so you don't have to. Jesse's right... if 14 people report the same post, we get 14 emails to wade through.

Not funny even if you were kidding. Know how long it takes to delete a spam post and then ban the spammer? Now multiply that by hundreds in the past few days.
And you had the audacity to report the mod who is doing the most work removing the spammers. Geez.
