In Maine the popular thing is a Chevrolet Silveraydo with a loud ass exhaust and rough country stickers. Why would you advertise you like shitty suspension components?

Sorry Texans... but I was behind a dude from your fair state yesterday afternoon on the way home.

2003+ Cummins HO Diesel in a 2500 long cab short bed. Massive 6" exhaust tip on a 3" exhaust system. Definite coal roller (any time he touched the gas it was like a Bond-movie smokescreen), and not very considerate behind the wheel.

But the worst thing about the truck? His rear calipers and discs were exposed when viewed from the rear. Just hanging out there waiting for a piece of debris to knock them off. That's how screwed up the offset of his wheels was (or maybe it was spacers?).

He pushed them out to make it look like he had wider tires, to give it that wide-stance look... when in fact he was probably running standard 31x10.5's.

Anyone here have a take (good/bad/indifferent?) on exposing the complete caliper and rotor with ridiculous offset wheels, or spacers? To me it just seemed not too bright if he ever plans on offroading.

the 2"-2.5" spacers guys are putting behind wheels with -44 or more offset are going to get someone killed when the right pothole @ 75 breaks their shit off
