The benefit of having a lifted vehicle is that you can crawl under an perform an oil change pretty quickly.

The benefit of our 01 LX470 is I can hit a button to lift it up and get under even easier... and if I work on something from above, I drop it on the bumpstops :hat:


The *only* work I let others do on our vehicles is tire changes and alignments.

We have a '17 Prius V that Toyotacare takes care of, but if/when they mess it up it's on them. (Selling that vehicle soon anyways)

Recently purchased and gearing up for a complete front and rear differential, transfer case, oil pan, fluid replacement. Never done before but mechanically inclined. Thanks for the link I printed for plugs and gaskets needed. Any advice is excepted and any one willing to come assist me in Missouri. I will have too see what the trans fluid replace consists of while I'm under there. Feedback on type of oil to use would be helpful.
