Why is the forum always offline?

I understand the hacking incident, but why is the forum consistently offline as of late? Do we need to go to a paid $5 membership or something similar to get a better server or forum software? I just can't understand why there have been so many issues and why it runs so slowly at times.

Because the same Chinese company selling us those kick ass TRD Pro grilles, are hacking the site and stealing our secrets! :suspicious:

If we go to a paid membership all of that money will be pocketed just like it has been for years.

All of the vendors who pay to be registered t4r vendors, all of the paid ads, etc and the forum wasn’t updated for years causing all of this in the first place.

They had to abandon ship and load an earlier backup onto a new server. It’ll take some time to get everything running normally again. Also, more patching and updating will probably follow so it would go offline for those as well.

Not complaining 'cuz it's free, but this site continues to run unsecured.

Look above when you logon in

If you login with MS Edge - you will be unsecured. Logon with Chrome and you'll have a secured logon.
