Why So Slow?

When I click on a thread to open it or try to save it just sits there for a couple minutes while the circular thing goes around. Is this running on an old 386 over a 36K dial up line in someone's basement? It sure seems that way.

I'm having the same problem here....my lap top takes forever to do anything on this site. when I'm on my desk top at work I can click right on thru page after page no problem. quiet frustrating :-/ this little message pops up and say "long running script" or something like that. maybe its just our computers or internet signal. thought id ask, hope someone has some suggestions . thanks
