Why spare tires are good to have ;D

I thought you guys would get a kick out of this.

I was filling my tire up a few weeks ago, when the valve stem literally ripped completely off! I sat and helt the air in for 15 min till my brother could throw a jack under the back end. Luckily I had a spare. But because buying a 5th tire my size wasn't an option (1. cause i got them in a trade 2. because who the hell has the money for a $500 spare?!) I had to use a 30x10" tire I had. It was actually one of the original tires I bought the truck on. I had to move one of my big tires from the front to the back because of my auto-locker (guys who know how auto-lockers work will understand that). And I threw the spare on to get it to the shop. Let's just say that keeping my hands on the wheel at all times kept me on the road haha.

haha i had a similar experience with my trailer, i have a toyota trailer with 25" tires and one blew. i didnt have any spare for the trailer at the time so i took out my 33" spare from my truck and it went down the road all side ways haha its a good look, you should try it more often haha

It's because the tires sat for 2 years. They were dry-rotted

2 spares on my truck? It's slow enough already with the wight of the tires that are on it. I'd have to try REALLY hard to get a flat with my tires, considering the lugs are an inch deep themselves. Plus, 1 little tire looks good on it anyways

I like Toyotech's suggestion (I was going to say it myself, but he stole my line--LOL)--carry two small spares, Tank, and when you have a flat, put the "go-cart" wheels on the front--give your Pumpkin that redneck look!

At least if you get a flat on your "other car", it won't really matter--the sidewall's so short, you won't notice a drop, and the tire can't come off the rim without some SERIOUS effort!
