Wife pushed rear bumper in

My wife, at a local off-road park (east of Denver), went up a mogul then let the truck back down into the ground below (while in "Drive" - ). At first I thought she did no more than fill the receiver hitch with dirt, later I see that she, quite evenly, pushed the rear bumper into the vehicle about a half inch. Very evenly. The bumper isn't crumpled or anything, just moved inward.

I looked underneath it doesn't seem like the rear bumper is adjustable. Just two bolts on the underside of the car and two more bolts on the bumper (per bracket).

Is that all there is? Do I have to replace the rear bumper brackets or do you guys know of another option?

Unfortunately, I notice it every time I walk around the rear. The big place it's noticable is where the bumper wraps to the tire well - it doesn't line up anymore.

I would un bolt the bumper see where it's bent and bang it out and put it back on.

The front is worse held on buy 4 bolts and 2 little bolts on the sides.:

Yeah, I decided on the brute-force option last night. It's pretty good but not perfect. I also loosened the bolts holding the brackets to the car's underside and pulled forward - that bought a little movement forward.

That's wierd, by the way. 1500 pounds of frame and the bumper is screwed to the body floor pan.

I sheared-off five of the screws getting the sides & mudflaps off. Lots of rust on the left rear quarter-panel. Right side is perfect - go figure. Rust is unusual in Colorado - we're so arid - makes me wonder the history of this vehicle (I've only owned it three weeks now).

The bumper, as far as I know, is stock and the paint with it. Just some sort of charcoal gray. It's a speckle finish now on the front - lots of flaking. I've been wondering about repainting it. I've got a pro-car painter as a friend, I'll have to ask him.
