Has anyone done a Wilco Tire Hitch Mount for their 5th gen? Were you able to keep a spare underneath with the mount installed? Please post pics...

Saw this before...was hoping someone went with Wilco. Not sure how much of a difference the two companies make their parts. Thanks for looking out...cheers!
I have the Solo High clearance. I run 285/70/17 and I would not be able to use the underneath for that size tire with the solo installed.
It does sit a ways away from the vehicle but it doesn’t concern me. I fit a bag with recovery equipment on the back side of the spare and also drilled holes in the solo arm and mounted a hi lift jack.
There is a little play when you move it around but it’s silent and don’t even notice it on or off road.

Apologies, I thought that was the Wilco. :shocked:
WAIT! When I search "tiregate" I get a Wilco website! Maybe the one in that article is just a higher end version? I have thought of using the Solo myself because I only intended to use it during off road weekends and leave it off for daily driving. Do you have link for the one you are asking about?
