Will 285/75/16 rub with limited/sport fender flares?

I plan on putting 285/75/16 ATPs on my 99 SR5. I have the toytec/eibach bilstein kit in the front with 2.5~3" lift, with 1.25" spacers to come. Chance of rubbing?

Well shit.

My 01-02 5 spoke sport wheels don't work with the UCA.

Does anyone know the backspacing on those?

And what backspacing will give me MORE clearance? 4.5 or 4?

I'd like to go with these: Pro Comp Alloy Wheels Part 7069-6883 - Series 7069, 16x8 with 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Flat Black - 4 Wheel Parts - 4" backspacing, 16x8

Thank you!

what about 255/85 coopers maxxx? They are about as wide as a 265 and and a 33". Might fix the rubbing and as a bonus you can show me what they look like on a 3rd gen and how they fit. =}

Note that on pic 3, 265s will rub the same way with spacers when compressed.

I got 285/75/16 definity dakota m/t tonight they rub a little bit at full turn and are close to to uca but don't rub.

I have the Sonoran Steel 1.2 with spidertrax spacers running 285/75 Duratracs on stock 5 stars. There's a small section of the inside of the front bumper flare you'll need to trim. You can't even tell it's trimmed if you do it properly. Taking the flare piece off looks awful with the rest of the Limited flares on there. Aesthetics aren't a moot point just because you drive an off-road vehicle. Just trim it and call it a day.

I would just suggest verifying you really have the clearance before any real harsh high speed offroading.

I had the exact setup as you: SS 1.2, 285s, stock 5-stars, 1.25" spacers

Last Dec. I was in Death Valley going about 25 and I hit a bunch of mogal style bumps. I ended up fully bottoming out the front and the tires hit the inside of the front fender enough to bend it and even popped my Limited Flares straight off on both sides. There are some pics of this in my thread if anyone needs a visual.

I've since added a 1" BL, ditched the spacers, and added tougher front bump stops.

I had been running with the setup fine for over a year and no issues, but that 1 hard hit and bam! In the end it was the fact that the tires just stuck about .75" out too far in the front.

My 265/75-16s rub my sport flares. Under full flex/compression, they rub the top of the inner fender liners.

Really?

With ~4"/5" lift you still rub under full flex?

Or did I somehow misunderstand your setup, or the point you were making?
