Will a Double-Din Fit?

Sorry for such a stupid question, but after looking at my girlfriends 2004 4Runner stock receiver, it doesn't look like it would fit a double-din navi unit. Any input and advice on installing a head unit on a 4runner is greatly appreciated.

maybe im overlooking something but the stock head unit is a double din, just not an aftermarket touch/interactive or nav screen. din only refers to the size, single din is 2 1/8" by 7 1/8" i believe, double is.. well you get it. i know plenty of members have installed aftermarket double dins and i will soon. my uncles stereo shop once used metra, not sure what they use now.

edit: searched real quick and some are saying this kit is the right fit:

Awesome news. Thanks. I just looked at the receiver and to me, it looked smaller than the one thats in my F150. Thanks for the info.

I installed mine a few weeks ago, and it looks great. It is a simple install. you will need something like this Metra Part # 95-8202 | Toyota Scion Dash kit | Metra Online , and a wire harness like this Metra Part # 70-1761 | Toyota wire harness | Metra Online .
