Will addco rsb fit a 2004?

Sorry for another "will it fit" thread but searched and couldn't find an answer.

The first time wheeling after my rear lift, my rear sway bar bracket sheered off exactly like this:

I thought that instead of paying a stealership an arm and a leg to fix it (I currently don't have the tools to do so) I would upgrade to this:

Ordered it today. But when doing research around the web, I ran into a site that said that this would only fit 07's or above. That or FJ's:

Anyone know if it fits earlier 4th gens? Need to cancel the order if not. It's an 04 4x4 v6 sr5, no xreas.

I would ASSUME, that the '04 and '07 sway bars have the same mounting points/distances, just maybe not the same diameter tubing. However, that still does not change the fact that you are going to have to extract out the remainder of the old bolt and re-tap the thread. For what it's worth, extracting out the old bolt and re-tapping the thread is relatively easy and cheap to do. I'm not sure where in North Carolina you are, but there are Harbor Freight Tools stores there, and you can pick up a metric tap and die set for about $16.00. I believe that bolt is a 12mm (I just installed all new suspension on my Runner two weeks ago, so I remember). Also, I know that sears sells a bolt extractor kit for that size bolt for $32.00. I recommend getting these tools and learning how to use them. Your Runner is an '04, with, presumably, around 100k miles. Believe me, you will be extracting and re-tapping more threads in the future. Just over this past year, I have had to extract and re-tap about five different bolts on my '05 with 105k miles on the clock. Good luck and PM me if you need any other help.

Thanks for your response Preacher. That will definitely be a skill I'll need to pick up. My 04 has 195k on it. Picked it up from a nurse who lived in BFE and drove back and forth to Charlotte all the time, so mostly highway miles. Right now I work 6 days a week, so I'll probably have the shop do it when I find the time. Been riding around with the sway bar disconnected and it's definitely not a fun experience going around a sharp turn, even when going slow. Thanks again for your response, I'll start in on the research.
