I'm sure this has been beat to death but I got offered a almost free set of 65% set of nitto trail graps. They are 35x12x17 and was curious if anyone has cleared them without having to do body mount chops or cutting the fenders. I don't want to do that what so ever but I can't pass up this deal. Anyone with some inout or experience would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you'll need a lift and trim modifications just to fit 295s

Just chop the body mounts, cut the front fender, maybe toss a 1" body lift on and your good to go...you know you want 35's.

I think people in this thread are being very optimistic.

The truth is that fitting a 35" tall tire that 12" wide is going to require serious modifications. That's a HUGE tire for a 4th gen 4Runner.

The more lift you have the easier it will be. But a modest 3" lift isn't enough for that size tire.
