Will later year rear seats fit 1st generations?

I was wondering if any other rear seats (besides 1st generation) fit a 86 4runner?

i took all 4 seats out of a 91 4runner and the 2 front seats bolted up just fine but the back... they but and all but the bolts for the bottom section didnt line up... so i just put the stock bolts back in the holes and drilled new holes and they work great. the upper part of the back bolted up just fine but the locking mech. that keeps them upright isnt in the right spot, seeing as how i live in idaho i rednecked it and got a bunji ball and bunjied the pull tab to the loop on the back... if that makes sence...?

Interesting...I would have thought the early 90s t4r rear seats would have been a direct fit...I wonder if anyone tried late 90s or even 2000 model seats?

To the Op, I do have an extra set of gray vinyl first gen rear seats if you are looking.
