Will this tow bar fit my '99 limited?

I found this on CL and its a good price (well..is $100 decent?). I have a 99 limited with almost every option but interestingly enough it has no tow bar or hitch. I was underneath the other day doing some sanding/rust converting/rubber sealant and noticed what may have once been trailer light wires cut off.

The guy doesnt know what type of 4runner it will fit. Will it fit mine?

I don't think there is any way for us to tell for sure just by the pictures.

There are lots of receivers that will fit our 4Runners. If you want one that WILL fit and isn't too expensive, try this:

Wiring harness: Amazon.com: Curt Manufacturing 55341 T-Connector: Automotive

Mine didn't come with one, either, and I added this one. It looks great, is great quality, and I've towed with it several times without issue. It fits the holes in your frame rails where the stock receiver would have been.

I may be wrong but that thing looks home made, I can get a good one from a scarp yard for $60, check out your friendly neighbourhood scrapyard

Wow, I didnt realize I could get a new one for 150 bucks! It looks good on your rig too Nash. From the pictures on Amazon of the 13087 it looks like the mounting roles are "roughly" in the same place. I might see if I can find one off a scrapped 4Runner (it probably has to be a 3rd gen right?) in the $60 range first as Jungoes suggested.

Bought my OEM hitch at a junkyard for $75. Sanded it down and painted it, looks like new. That's where I would try first.
