Gas will be prob be under $3 here soon. Result of demand destruction, just read nearly 70% of households or something like that are struggling with grocery bills people driving way less to save money. Diesel you don't have the option so much as it's work trucks, still around $5.

Not a great time to buy an EV I reckon if you've been following that Moire County stuff and the other ones especially the 2013 CA attack. There's a security advisory for tomorrow mon 12th. Supposedly they attacked 12 substations but only 2 damaged enough. It could have taken down a very large part of the east coast grid of they got all 12. For a LONG time. They havent actually fixed it they got the power vack on with a mobile transformer they are rotating (and guarding like a MF no doubt). They dont want people knowing that we don't have spares for this stuff. Those big ones are custom made in china (with chicom hardware backdoors pre-installed of course). Take 18 months to build.

I've been watching INTERESTING stuff on adsbexchange for months. Lots of contractors doing ISR flights over critical assets. Seem to be using Air Tractor crop dusters and some weird rando planes for some of it. Weird ****.

Gas was under $3/gallon here yesterday for mid-grade (87 in CO), so the low tier (85 in CO) is around $2.64.

I saw an RV-6 with a big old magnetometer hanging off the back flying grids at 3am over an Indian rez. Only thing there is a generating station near a major mil base. Flew day after day the same grids. Got a pic of the actual plane. Looks like a... crop duster... but with no sprayers and some huge sensor custom rigged out the back. Wrong altitude for leak detection or anything "normal" AFAIK. Eventually saw it fly in to two different bases. It flies over pipeline stuff the rest of the time. A Lasai plane followed ut up with lidar. Look up who Lasai is owned by and who they contract to. Same thing all over the country when you look. Look up 5th gen warfare, nonlinear warfare, unrestricted warfare.

I live next to STRATCOM I literally watch the doomsday planes, cobra ball rivet joint etc flying right over my house

Gas prices are going down but even if they were still going up, I'd keep my T4R. I just like the flexibility and ability to use it in just about any conditions and go wherever I want.

I would just drive a lot less!

My wife’s response to gas prices “I have to drive as much as I have to drive, I guess it just means I’ll pay more”. This is the same person who wanted to go drive 30 mins away to look around at Big Lots when no gas stations had gas [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

eh, lots can change in the next decade. better batteries are just around the corner. solar panels continue to improve both in capacity and longevity. hydrogen fuel cell R&D is ongoing. (before you say anything, I realize i'm ignoring the mining/recycling issues)

at some point the electric companies will be forced to update their grid - Xcel is currently trying to charge residential clients another 8.2% for improvements - which I have submitted a sternly written letter to the CPUC about. LOL

I agree that right now, PHEV makes the most sense - and hopefully that will be our next vehicle unless those improved batteries are standard by 2025my.
