He made the nightly news on a major station, Saturday Night Live did a skit on him, he's getting some "singing" gigs, he's going to appear on the Ellen show soon, everybody at his university now knows him, people ask him for his autograph, and chicks dig him that wouldn't have otherwise. During my career in IT, I have seen many things that redefine the word stupid, but I doubt that story about the "cup holder" is true. I very much doubt it.

I work in IT as well and I have actually gotten the "My new computer is missing the cup holder!" call. I swear. Funny stuff. And thats probably not the worst call i've gotten.
