WInch mount using front bumper?

I want to put a winch on the runner but dont want to spend the $$$ on the real bumper, anyone have any mods to put mount the winch on the front with using the stock bumper, (i know id have to cut up the bumper cause it has to mount to the frame)

I saw one guy that did it but I think it was on a 2001 and might have been Yotatech. If I find the thread I will respond again.

I would imagine this would work "You could always add a front trailer hitch reciever, and then mount your winch to an accessory that fits the reciever. The advantage of this is that you don't have to drive with the winch all the time, just put it on when you need it. It does F up your approach angle though"

HB that is the thread I was thinking of, couldnt remember which portal I had seen it on.

I also know someone who is doing something similar but without removing the support beam. There isn't enough info on that to share right now though.
