Window glass

I have a 2005 4Runner, purchased new from the dealer. The front driver side window glass became loose and began to rattled after about 18 months of ownership. Two trips to the dealer for warranty repair resulted in only a slight reduction in the rattle. Now the front passenger glass has become loose and rattling also - to an even greater extent. I'm 4 months out of warranty so dealer wants $$$ to take a look, and I'm not sure how much good it would do given the inability in the past to fix the driver side.

I'm fairly handy - So any suggestions on what might be the cause and how to repair?

I had a problem with the drivers side glass in my honda once. I had to take the door panel off and found that the screws holding the glass to the regulator had come loose allowing it to rattle. Just a suggestion.
