Hello,
Our 2000 4Runner passenger side back window motor recently gave up.
I followed a you tube video about how to take it apart and did so last week.
The window regulator track channel (link below) seems to have fallen off the window and was at the bottom of the inside of the door.
My question is, how does this piece attach to the window glass? I was able to slip the window into the narrow rubber track in the channel and reconnected it to the regulator. I'm not sure if there is something else that would connect the track channel to the window, I'm just worried that if I get a new motor that the window may not be connected to the track channel correctly and could come loose. Is there something else that connects the two? Besides the wheel that fits into the track channel from the window regulator, is there anything else that should connect the two together?
Thanks!
