Window switches

Is it just me, or does your left hand fall naturally to the REAR window switches too? Just nit picking, but I can't tell you how many times that back window has gone down when I wanted the front. I have to look to get the left front window at first try or do a feel around search for it.

You are not alone. I also don't care for their position under the door handle. My 93 runner had them on top of the arm rest, in easy view and reach.

It's only happened to me once. They felt strangely low and odd when I first got it, but I've gotten so used to them now that I can't find the window switches in any other car I drive.

the older 4Runners are not like that, but my Mom has a new Explorer, and everytime I drive it I always hit the wrong switch. So it is not just a Toyota flaw.
