Window tint. Bad install?

Just had my tint redone for the 3rd time today. Due to trash being under the tint. Now I have what looks like water streaks. Under the tint!! I'm beyond frustrated.... Will these go away or am I going to have to be the dick customer that keeps coming back?

That water mark looks a little large but it should be fine with a few days in the sun. But hey you are a paying customer so I would make sure you get what you paid for and are happy.

There are about a half dozen of them that size. The crappy part is I work at a car dealer and this is the person we use ALL the time. When I told her about it she seemed to be annoyed that I wanted it fixed. I still haven't paid for the job. I asked her about a little bit after she left but she has not gotten back to me.

Post the name of this tint shop so others can avoid it.

I find it odd that she would display the attitude you describe when you work for a dealer that sends tons of business her way?

Most tint shops tell you not to roll your windows down for 3 days so the tint can dry. If there's still issues with the tint after 3 days, then you can worry about taking it back to be fixed or going somewhere else.

That is normal. I'm surprised the tiny shop didn't advise you if this. Give it a week, you'll notice the water pockets will slowly disappear over time.

I usually wait about 2 weeks every time I tint my vehicles before getting concerned. I've had yellow'd tint, purple'd tint, cloudy tint, water streaked tint, all of which disappeared within a couple weeks, if not a couple days. I've had, 3M, suntek, and some other odd ball names put on different vehicles over the yeras.

After 2 weeks I'll usually wash the windows with whatever and however the tint shop recommends as "safe" on their tint. My plan has always been to give them a ring at that point if I'm not happy, but I've yet to find anything after that.

I do go right back if I find anything trapped under the tint though, so good on you for that one.

TL;DR - give it a week or two, wash the windows per the tinter's instructions, then see if you still have an issue.

Came out this morning and they were almost all gone. As of now i can see them any more. Guess I was just paranoid after the last 2 times.
Thank you everyone for your input.

This I knew, even put tape over the switch. LOL

She didn't mention it yesterday and only got back to me this morning saying they would go away.

You are right, I want to get what I pay for not half ass.

That's normal. It'll dry out over the coming days.

I not here to bash anyone, she does good work. She swings the other way(if you know what I mean) so I think she is just that way.

Maybe she was annoyed because she expected you to know how tint jobs work. Since you're a dude (if you know what I mean).
