Window Tinting Visability

I have my front windows tinted to match the stock rear factory tint. At some point, i want to put limo or double limo on the back and possibly front. At night i know its hard to see out of what i already have. With limo is it virtually impossible to see out of your front windows? Any cops here know the likelyhood of getting a fix it ticket with limo vs a more moderate tint?

I definitely love having them tinted, but now i just wish they were darker ( especially when the sun is shining in :awais: )

Here is a picture of my Saab 9-3 with 15% tint. Sorry - it's the only picture I have left!

:bouncy: That looks really good. definitely darker than what i have now. I gotta at least not be able to see through the second side of windows right!? :P

Just get a nice set of sunglasses and save yourself the ticket, just my 2 cents.

I would go darker...I've never been pulled over for it and about to go darker. Here is a picture of my 4R right now and I'm going to go darker than that.

Plus with 4R being black, it will look really good! :bigok:

O.o thats a good looking 4runner. What % is that? I have sunglasses! but rawr for darker windows. Cops around here like to ticket for it ( if you get pulled over for something else )

Thanks! I love it. I am not positive on the % but my guess would be 25%. It was on there when I bought it.

That's crazy that they're stiff on window tints. I guess in Denver, they have other cares in the world. Cause God knows I've been pulled over plenty of times and not once have I received a ticket for my windows.

Couldn't help but notice the life vest under your 4R Bobby - Do you wakeboard?

Yeah it looks great. Hmmm 25% i'll have to keep that in mind!

You're so lucky. Everyone i know that has tinted windows around here has gotten a fixit ticket for them if they got pulled over.

Yeah, i actually havent for about a year though :/ We had a malibu wakesetter, and last season bought a cabin in big bear. So snowboarding is my sport now :D Still got the seadoos though. Out in the ocean soo fun. You wakeboard?

I dont know if you could tell but that's a Malibu Boats sticker in that picture I posted! I ride for Malibu so they're definitely my favorite boat to ride behind.

Well let me know if you get that tint done!

Where do you live?

In Shreveport everyone always complains about cops giving window tint tickets but i sit next to cops all the time and none have ever even cared about it.

nice dude! malibu's throw a sick wake. I will deff post pictures :]

So you just put 16% over the factory? Thats a good idea. Hmm i might have to do that. It looks really good.

Im in Orange County, CA. I guess there isnt that much to patrol here so tickets is where its at?

If the cops are strict around your area I would only do 20% max.

I would not suggest doing 5% over what you already have on there.

Considering the fact that you think it's hard to see out of what you already have, which is probably 20-25%, I would be leary to suggest going any darker.

Tint looks good, but you shouldn't sacrifice safety for it.

Nice ride! It's LEGAL to have front windows tinted in Colorado. That's why you NEVER got pulled over. :D

I just got pulled over a few days ago for the 35% I have on my front windows. I didn't get a ticket but pulled it off anyway because I have to get it inspected in a few weeks. If you have to remove tint, do it in cold weather. I had no adhesive residue left on the windows
