how much should i expect to pay for 5% tints on all rear windows and 20-30%s on the driver, passenger, and windshield?

shouldnt be more than 60 to 80 depending on how many saturated the market is with window tint companies.

here in VA there arent that many tinters and laws are crazy here too. For a good lifetime warranty you can pay upto 200 for 4 windows.

i got mine done in florida while i was there 2 fronts and the moonroof 20% for 100.

So is 20% to match the rear factory tint?....Is that correct?....I am getting mines this friday... wanna make sure guys

You know? I think 20% is just slightly darker than factory from what I have gathered. I think if you can get somewhere between 20 and 25%, that may help match it (also depending on the color of tint). Maybe others can put their 2 cents in.

Yeah, 20% probably right. 20% would be darker by itself, but you have to account for light coming through the windshield so 20% should work.

20% is just about right. Its slightly darker during the daytime but at night it looks perfect. To the untrained eye it matches all around

Just FYI, some of the nicer films provide a better match in color to the factory tinted glass.

From the exterior most any 20% will look good. When you're inside the car and looking out, a lot of the cheaper tints will have a green hue to it and you'll clearly be able to see the difference b/w the front and rear windows. This would drive me nuts.

The place I used installed a nice 20% Llumar film that is a near perfect match inside and out. I paid $180 for the two front windows and the front windshield.

What is considered some of the nicer brands? I have seen many around here that all appear more grey/green compared the purple/blue oem glass. The 20% on my front windows is made my suntech, and has a slight hint of green/grey when looking out, but matches great from the outside.

I always associated purple with cheap tint, so I didnt think it would be very easy to match anything to the oem glass.

edit- Dont mind me. You already said Llumar. It doesnt bother me much. It more or less just looks like my back windows arent tinted when looking out. The color difference is hardly noticable on mine.
