Window Visors from Japan!

Price seems to be good too.
The OEM TOYOTA visors are bit bigger but what is on ebay seems to be quite big from what we find here in the US market. Also this set attaches from outside (double sided tape and clips) and will not scratch the window glass.

NOTE: I have NO connection with the seller.

Seller says this set for right hand drive, but we all know here LHD 4runners and RHD Surf's are basically the same.

The color seems to be bit dark and opaque so when you make a turn the the A-pillar and the opaqueness may obstruct your view.

These are so you can crack your windows down a fraction for fresh air without being buffeted by a roaring gale or rain. They work to some degree, as long as you don't extend the window down too far.

Banning beans for lunch will also help ;)

Ah I prefer a nice bit of fresh rain in me face in the morning time, thank the lord my a** smells of Roses.

Those are aftermarket vent visors not OEM ones from a Surf.
The edges are way too sharp to be the Toyota ones, the OEM ones are more rounded and say Toyota near the rear where your door handle would be.
Plus those do not round out far enough.

I would say they are fake.
Would they fit, sure, but they are not like the OEM ones.

My wife tried to buy a set like this for my truck and I was very disappointed with how they looked and functioned. Brand new they were like $50, so this seller is trying to make cash off the JDM claim.
Buyer beware!

This is what the OEM Surf rain visors look like.

More details please on your roof lights, the mounts and where you got it. Please. Looks badass

LoL, thanks
The LED bar is an OPT7 42" held on by a Slag Factory mount.
The other bar is a CARR medium profile light bar, using their recommended gutter less mounts with 5 KC HID Pro-Sport 6" Spots on it.

The CARR light bar and mounts, the OPT7 LED bar and KC lights all from Amazon, the Slag Factory mounts came from Slag Factory.

This is a front shot

The CARR light bar and mounts, do you like it ? I have the slag factory mounts but it never hurts to have more lights haha.

Did you have to modify anything or just bolt on

Seller does not claim they are OEM, he just has JDM in description to get hits on ebay when people search for JDM visors. These are worth $50 tops.

On top of that, I don't see anything about the set in the OP, or the factory Toyota versions posted above that are any better than the stuff we get here.

I'm all for spending a little more money for higher quality/better looking parts (JDM or otherwise) but I don't see anything wrong with the visors that were on my truck when I bought it.

This is what I have Factory OEM

Hi SIN-JAPAN,
Do you have an upgraded alternator to run all the lights you have? The new Hiace Dual-AC alternator that is mounted to 5vzfe should give about 95 Amps. The 10 mm bolt sticking out in our 5vzfe is low amps (70 or so) and the one with 12 mm bolt in the hiace alternator is much better. Any chance you can find one there?
Thanks

The Gutter less mounts are just bolt on, 4 screws, under the door weather stripping.

The CARR light bars come longer than needed so once you pick where to mount the bar you can measure the distance and trim the bar back to the correct length for your application.
It is a very simple install and the Directions that come with the bar give you all the info you will need to put it together.

I have been looking into a few options for the Alternators, the CS144 is on the table but with how strict they are on Inspections here in Japan I have been looking at LCE Performance and DC Power Inc. which are expensive but would give me 180+Amps and fits in a Stock housing.
(Between Lights, Stereo, Future Winch and such I feel 150+ would be better for my needs)

As for the new Hiace I was unaware of that, for local parts it is sometimes difficult to locate things as Japan as a whole is a very "No Outside the Box" society.
Example: Looking for a Turbo Hood for my Surf, most parts places just give me confused looks because my model vehicle does not come with a turbo diesel so why would I want a hood from a different model. :)

So to search for one I had to look for parts from a KZN185.
I use Yahoo Auction JP very often to look for parts so if you know the model of the New Hiace with the alternator you are looking for that can help.
