Windshield Washer hoses

OKay so I got my car back from the shop a few days ago and when i went to wash a nice big bird turd my windshield this morning (word to the wise, if you have a garage, use it) and all i got was the wipers swiping and a very nasty looking windshield. luckily it rained while i was at school today. if you look at the back left of the engine bay while standing directly in front of the car, there is a little 90* piece of plastic where a line runs from the washer fluid resivoir to it and another to somewhere on the hood. but that second piece of piping is gone, and i don't know where it feeds into the lines that i can see on the hood. i'm hoping that the shop will replace this part after they kept my car i the shop for almost a month.

sorry if this was a rant too...i had a very bad weekend.

Tough luck man I hope they do replace it thats too bad...i'm assuming they worked before it went in the shop?

Hey does anyone know how to make the back spayer work better? mine just like pee's on the window it really doesn't do much.

yes they did, all that is missing is that one hose. :dammit:

try cleaning out the nozzles with something like a pipe cleaner that worked for mine on our '96. I assume it's the same for yours.

Gonna dig up an old prehistoric thread. I haven't had my rear washer fluid sprayer work for almost a year.

Tonight I filled up the resivior with antifreeze wiper fluid and just ran the back windshield pump until I could hear water dripping. I had water dripping out from the pinch weld from the passenger side, turns out Toyota ran the wiper fluid line under the door sill right along side my wiring harness . So I have wiperfluid in that little groove that the wiring harness sits in for the length of the vehicle, along with a hose that has a leak in it.

I tried drying out what I could but I was limited to the door sills, also pulled on a wire that was clearly a mod, but rather than it ending with some cut end like it has virtually ever other time, it terminated with RCA jacks, fingers crossed all my speakers still work when I hook up my stereo again.

Anyway what size and type of hosing should I use to replace this length of old washer fluid hose that is leaking?
