Winter 2012 Vancouver 4runner meet up?

im not sure, i guess depend on what all member decide and im thinking if we go for trail fun, we also can take a group photo. i just try to gather more member who active in off road and like to explore around bc. if just only meet up and share some info and probably can take a group photo too.

Hey guys, any news on when this can happen? I'll be home in 2 weeks and will be up for either a meet and great, or a trail ride, or both....
Just an Idea, I found a real well built deck in the middle of nowhere just off the highway past furry creek (top of the big hill). Here's a pic... great place for a bbq.

So, the deck is just off the road up a small trail. My dog found it for me, she took off and I thought it was for a deer as usual so I stopped and got out of the truck only to find her on a patio in the middle of nowhere. You could drive by it and never know it was there. As for the fsr, I have no idea but here is a pic of my phone (Maveric - awsome app for wheelin).

Where you turn off the highway, if you don't take the left to head towards the deck, but rather go "straight" err... hard right, you will understand if u are there and then you more or less keep to the right (down a small steep hill and past some old junk logging equipment) you will continue on to find an old, unused gravel pit. Super fun to crawl around in for any vehicle, and is a great spot for taking pics. Also if you explore the road south of my waypoint "Creek, a bit mu..." (its under the power lines) thats loads of fun but the end of my tag on that is that its a bit much with out a buddy. However you can continue northeast under the powerlines and for some km's and end up in a fantastic fishing spot. Its super fun to explore in there. I havent explored to much further north of the deck yet except to find out that the gates are all closed if you want to exit by britannia beach.
Anyhow, I do think the deck would be a great spot (especially in the summer) for a meet and greet bbq.

I have the next couple months off work and will be out wheelin pretty much all the time while I am home. The dog just had surgury, so she won't be able to run as hard as normal (20k per day) but she doesnt mind sittin in the back either. I suggest we head out the first weekend of February, but I will be available any time after that.
