Hi there !
Winter is definitely in full swing in snowy canada. I've been enjoying myself and my 4Runner in the snow for a few weeks and I did not have to dig the Toyota out of anything....yet
.
This morning the thermometer was registering at -28 Celsius, making it very fun to be alive and outside. The truck ( 1990 SR5 with the 3.0 ) started without a hitch, yay.
I did get some trouble from the cold tho', the speedometer shrieks from 12 MPH and up.....LOUD! I know old Toyotas are soft on the speedo cable side of things, is this a speedo cable issue ? Has anyone else seen this in cold weather ? Will it go away when the Ice Age ends or do I absolutely need to replace the part ? How's everyone doing ?
