Winter tire question

I am currently running 265/65/17 Fuzion XTI's on my 2008 V6 Sport which have performed well all year round.

This winter I want to run winter tires as I do a lot of winter driving in snow country. I run Michellin X-Ice on my Corolla and I am very happy with their performance.

I am seriously considering them for my 4Runner but I am also looking at other options.

Does anyone have any experience with Cooper Discovery M&S? (~$37 less per tire)

I am also going to look at the Nokian's since I have read a lot of positive reviews here but they are harder to come by.

I have a 2007 Sport and run Good Year Silent Armors.

Given your location and lots of snow driving I would go with either the Nokians or a set of severe weather rated tires.

The GY SAs are sever weather rated and I have had good results with them year round - put on 17,000 miles in the past year including a trip from Massachusetts, cross country to Montana in rain, snow, sleet, and had no problems at all. Good overall mileage too with 22 mpg on the highway.

check out 1010tires.com they have a lot of nokians and sell in both us and canada... there are several nokian snows that fit the 4r it all depends on what your preference is
