I've got a set of Ultra Gauntlets that I'm bored with and will delegate to winter duty after this season. Flat black powder coat, maintenance free, and I only paid about $800 or so for the set.

Steelies. best bang for the buck if you have to have another set of stock wheels.
Picked my set up for $200 locally.
Wow those don't look that bad, I have been going back and forth on the decision to get the k02 or get steelies and winter tires.
I have an opportunity to pick up a set of 17" alloys off a brand new 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport that have less than 2KM on them. I have a 2015 Limited Edition 4Runner and will be putting on a dedicated winter tire (265/70R17). Will these rims fit without any clearance or rubbing issues?

This brings me to ask how well/bad the OEM 4Runner TE alloy rims handle our canadian salty winter. I am planning to get BFG KO2 tires which I will use as winter tires and off-road (spring and fall), and keep the original tire for summer during which I am not planning to do off-road. I don't know yet if I will use the TE rims with the BFG KO2 and 3rd party rims for summer, or the reverse. Depends how well the TE handle winter here. Any recent experience?
